Eduverse Summit 2023 postponed to early 2024
In response to the recent diplomatic developments between India and Canada, the Eduverse Summit 2023 organizing committee announced the postponement of this highly anticipated higher education event. The event was initially scheduled for October 26-28, 2023 in New Delhi. It has now been deferred till early 2024.
This decision was made in light of the recent visa and travel uncertainties between India and Canada, affecting the travel schedules of speakers, delegates, partners and exhibitors. Notably, most participants at this summit belonged to Canada and were expected to travel for the event in October 2023.
The dates for the rescheduled event will be communicated soon. This summit was slated to host 1,200 global educators, academic heads, higher education institute (HEI) heads, education reformers, and policymakers from 20 countries. The summit’s Global Chairperson – Sarah Todd, Vice President (Global), Griffith University, Australia – and India Chairperson – Prof (Dr) T G Sitharam, Chairman, All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), had jointly prepared a well-balanced agenda for the three-day long soiree.
This summit was conceptualised to be the unified platform for education leaders, facilitators, institutes, edupreneurs, and counselors to exchange ideas, discuss present practices and outline future trends. Its social recall under #EduverseSummit2023 was abuzz with engaging conversations, video messages, and constant updates to its followers. With an active community, website, and social media standing of 9,000+ patrons, its messaging was loud and clear – to unify education leaders, providers, and facilitators to shape the future of education.
Despite the temporary delay, the Eduverse Summit remains committed to delivering a transformative and insightful experience to all participants. The organizing committee is hopeful that the visa and travel restrictions will soon be relaxed, facilitating a successful run for this exciting event. The updated schedule will soon be available on the summit’s official social media channels and website: https://www.eduversesummit.org
