‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ observations at Abdullah School

Aligarh : Teachers and students of the Abdullah School, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) celebrated the Unity in diversity of the Nation to strengthen emotional bonds between all Indians and to promote the spirit of National Integration with the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ observations under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative of the Government.

Umra Zaheer (Superintendent, Abdullah School) apprised, “Online activities reflecting India’s diversity were conducted in which languages, culture, food, festivals, dresses, socio-economic activities, sports and tourist spots of various states were highlighted”.

She also delivered a talk on ‘Unity in Diversity’.

Teachers and students of the School also celebrated the ‘International Women’s Day’ in line with the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ observances in which students engaged in card making and essay writing contests.

On the occasion, Umra Zaheer spoke on how women are leading in sustainability initiatives for effective actions on the issue of climate change.
