In the last twelve months, ThisDay has witnessed a 300% year-on-year growth rate on its platform, with a recorded increase in its user base from 5.5 million MAUs to 17.8 million MAUs. Readership on the storytelling platform is spread across major Indian cities like Lucknow, Patna, Indore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Pune, and more. 7.9 million users consumed stories from Lucknow alone in the last year, making it the leading city with maximum users.
ThisDay supports a large community of creators, users, and visionaries, covering genres such as heritage, places, lost stories, and people. The stories are told in multiple languages that have attracted a large number of users from across the country. The platform aims to include over 300 creators by the end of 2022. Creators must go through a strict process to become a part of the platform which ensures that the quality of stories remains high. Creators benefit from sharing stories and collaborating with other creators on the platform while creating content through text, visual and audio formats. The platform’s storytellers receive payment by sharing their stories, and the pay varies according to the choice of the format being used. ThisDay also hosts advertisements from various brands and plans to incorporate an ad-revenue share for creators in the coming future.
