Electric auto mobility is future, sustainable mode of commutation: DC Pulwama

 

PULWAMA : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Baseerul Haq Choudhary today said that the commutation by electric/green vehicles and two wheelers is sustainable and this mode of mobility will shape the future of the automobile industry.

The DC said this while inaugurating an electric bike showroom near Degree College, here.

Choudhary further said that investing in such areas not only controls emission levels but also provides gainful self-employment to the youth. The need of the hour is to establish many such enterprises and create avenues of meaningful livelihood for the youth, remarked the DC.

The DC, on the occasion, informed that the administration is making sincere and hard efforts for engaging youth of the district in various entrepreneurial activities. Besides, handholding of the prospective beneficiaries of govt self employment schemes is being done on priority, he added.

Senior officers, owner of the (electric bike) showroom, young aspiring youth and local people were present at the inaugural ceremony.
