Employability.life to transform the education landscape with the launch of ground-breaking Experiential microcredential (XPMC) offering

New Delhi : At a press conference in New Delhi, the innovative education provider Employability.life formally launched its new experiential microcredentials (XPMCs). By giving students direct experience of professional work environments in bite-size chunks, with an industry-aligned credential, XPMCs will transform the education and training landscape, changing the way that young people prepare themselves for the global workplace.

XPMCs are agile projects provided by industry experts. Learners are supported by project managers who will ensure that professional work is performed in a safe environment. Students also receive professional mentoring to identify personal strengths and develop five key digital economy capabilities: Growth mindset, Career intelligence, Digital intelligence, Cultural intelligence and Influence.

Given that automation threatens 69% of jobs in India (The World Bank) and India’s digital skilled workforce needs to grow 9 times by 2025 (Amazon web services) the need for a solution is unquestionable. The XPMCs can be easily added to the formal education curriculum of Indian institutions and make the students workplace ready. More than 60 institutions accounting for over 150,000 students are open to adopting XPMCs to enhance the employability of students across the country.

Through this partnership Federation University Australia will accredit XPMCs and associated teacher training programmes. Additionally, this collaboration will provide an opportunity for eligible students to visit and work on projects within the IBM emerging technologies hub located at Federation’s campus in Ballarat, Victoria.

The microcredential programme was launched in the presence of their Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Duncan Bentley, and Carolyn Chong, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Global & Engagement), Federation University Australia.

Employability.life is the pioneer in experiential microcredentials worldwide. The XPMCs are in alignment with the proposed national credit framework under India’s new National Education Policy.

These microcredentials are built with ongoing industry cooperation to ensure maximum value, the partners have launched the initial XPMCs in Cyber security, Digital Finance, Product Management, AI, Digital Transformation, Supply Chain and Smart Manufacturing. By combining these future-facing topics with the benefits of experiential learning and bespoke credentialing, Employability.life will revolutionise training and qualifications, as well as reshape human resource management for corporate partners.
