The university has announced admissions for its November 2017 intake, while offering a wide range of scholarships and bursaries
New Delhi, August 22, 2017: Deakin University, a leading Australian higher education and research university, has announced programmes for undergraduate and post graduate programmes. Currently, the university is offering scholarships and bursaries to Indian students applying for the November 2017 intake, for most of its UG and PG programmes.
The UG programmes are offered in subjects like but not limited to Arts (Psychology), Exercise and Sports Science, Business Sports Management, Software Engineering, Bio Medical Science and Commerce, and PG programmes in but not limited to International Accounting, Data Analytics, Communication, Marketing, Health and Human Service Management and Business Analytics.
Scholarships for international students include a bursary of 10%, 15% or 20% on merit basis and a grant of 25% (conditions apply) for those who have an average score of 80% in their class 12 for undergraduate studies and above 75% in the bachelors for post graduate studies.

To attract deserving candidates from across India, we offer a wide range of bursaries and scholarships. Besides, Deakin takes utmost care of its admission process; a student’s application is processed within two to four weeks of submission of the application through our South Asia office at New Delhi”, said Ravneet Pawha, Associate Vice President (Global) and Executive Director (South Asia), Deakin University.

The last date for submitting applications with all supporting documents for the November intake is September 30, 2017.
Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG programmes:
While eligibility depends on the course, board (For UG) and the university (for PG) that the students have graduated from, all students must clear any one of the English aptitude tests among IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum requirement is
UG –
IELTS: 6/6, Overall 6.0, no band less than 6.0
TOEFL(IBT) : 65 , Writing 21
PTE: 52 (NO SCORE LESS THAN 50)
PG-
IELTS: 6.5/6, Overall 6.5, no band less than 6.0
TOEFL(IBT) : 70, Writing 21
PTE: 58(NO SCORE LESS THAN 50)
Please note, these are basic requirements. There are certain courses that require higher English requirement in both UG and PG.

Around $30,000 AUD/ per annum
Annual Indicative Fee for PG programmes:
$32,000 AUD/ per annum onwards
