New Delhi: Tetr College of Business, a first-of-its-kind global business school, today announced the composition and profile of its first undergraduate global cohort. This diverse cohort of 80+ dynamic young leaders includes climate activists, venture-backed entrepreneurs, social media influencers, global TEDx speakers, and national chess champions. Hailing from across the world, the maiden batch features students from 40 countries including the US, India, Turkey, Argentina, Poland, UK, UAE & Singapore.

Tetr selected this diverse and global cohort of change-makers through a meticulous process that included an application form, the ‘Tetr Trial’—a unique AI-powered 45-minute evaluation testing candidates on critical thinking, business acumen, entrepreneurial pursuits, academics and extra co-curricular—and personal interviews with top industry leaders like Dr Edward Rogers, Former Chief Knowledge Officer, NASA; Viney Sawhney, Professor, Harvard University and Nitin Gaur, Advisory Board, Stanford University. The quality of the cohort can be gauged from the acceptance rate which stands at a mere 2.6%, with the average SAT score being 1475. The institution evaluated at least 1500 candidates for each spot, with several students choosing Tetr over offers from esteemed colleges like Dartmouth, King’s College, Imperial, and Warwick.

Some of the notable profiles from Tetr’s first batch include Rushil Chawla, a student entrepreneur whose SaaS startup, Nebula, received funding from IIT Bombay; Radhika Gupta, a home-schooled student, YouTuber and Global Teen Hero India awardee; Dua Zafar, a TEDx speaker from UAE and Founding Partner of Alyx Society, an impact-based startup; Amann Shariff, the founder of Prysm, an AI-powered growth automation platform; Songheon Kan from South Korea, an entrepreneur and YouTuber who at 19 presented an AI voice recognition company to a government investment program and secured $100,000 in funding and Samia Khan, a founding member and Operations Director of an NGO connecting 100,000+ street hawkers with authorities.

Pratham Mittal, Founder, Tetr College of Business, said, “Creating a well-rounded first cohort of exceptional talent from across the globe was our primary focus. Beyond academic excellence, we sought students who have ventured into unique paths and embraced diverse experiences. We are excited to welcome 80+ such exceptional individuals, many of whom had offers from some of the most prestigious global institutions. This blend of academic rigour, entrepreneurial drive, and unique experiences makes them ideal candidates to thrive in our program and emerge as future leaders in business and society.”

With Tetr’s Bachelor’s in Management and Technology program set to commence in September 2024, the students are currently engaging with each other in meetups being held in the US, UK, UAE, India and Vietnam. Tetr is conducting masterclasses in Term 0 with esteemed faculty like Mr. Alexis Montecinos, Former Professor, MIT Sloan and Manoj Kohli (ex-SoftBank India Head). Tetr’s highly experiential, immersive 4-year program will see students travel and study across 7 countries (USA, Italy, Singapore, Brazil, UAE, India, Ghana) and study at top universities like NUS, IIT, and SDA Bocconi. They will gain practical knowledge by building an e-commerce business in Dubai, leveraging Silicon Valley’s ecosystem for a tech startup, and designing a hardware product in Singapore. Additionally, they will learn content creation in Milan, launch green initiatives in Rio De Janeiro, and develop a consumer business in India. Tetr has offered scholarships worth up to INR 2 crore each to exceptional talent keen on joining their maiden batch.
