ETS India, Digii (formerly CollPoll) Sign MoU to enable Tech-Powered Global Education Access
New Delhi – ETS India, a subsidiary of ETS which is the world’s largest educational assessment, research, and measurement organisation, and the owner of assessments such as TOEFL® and GRE®; and Digii (formerly CollPoll), a Bengaluru-based SaaS company offering a Digital Campus Platform for higher education institutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to simplify the journey of students aiming for international education by integrating ETS’s globally recognized assessments like TOEFL and GRE with Digii’s innovative digital campus platform, Digiicampus.
The MoU will enable Digii’s expansive network of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to gain streamlined access to ETS’s assessments – TOEFL and GRE. Digii’s partner HEIs will benefit from direct access to Digiicampus features, enhancing student engagement and simplifying the study abroad application process with a new workflow for managing essential documents.
Digii and ETS India will also collaborate on joint go-to-market activities to reach out to new HEIs and foster broader access to educational opportunities.
Partner HEIs of Digii that have an Institutional MoU/MoU with ETS India will be able to use specific features of the Digiicampus platform, such as the Campus Social Network, Institutional Calendar, and Placement Management System, according to their license agreement with Digii.
Additionally, Digii will work on developing a workflow for storing important documents, such as recommendation letters, personal essays, applications, and admission letters on the Digii campus platform. This will allow partner HEIs to monitor the progress of their students who want to study abroad and use the data for regulatory and ranking submissions.
Speaking on the occasion, Sachin Jain, Country Manager, ETS India & South Asia, said, “I am thrilled about the collaborative journey ahead with Digii. This strategic collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing educational opportunities for students globally. Together, we aim to leverage technology and streamline processes, fostering a seamless path for students aspiring to study abroad. This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing innovative solutions and broadening horizons in higher education and reach more institutions across India.”
According to Hemant Sahal, Founder and CEO, Digii (formerly CollPoll), “When it comes to leveraging technology to create a delightful experience for Gen-Z students, we have always been excited and are at the forefront of driving this. With 200K+ happy users, we plan to rapidly build more capabilities on Digiicampus assisted by advanced technologies to support the overall student experience. We are glad that our collaboration with ETS India has given us the opportunity to further strengthen our mission of empowering higher education institutions.”
