ETU “LETI”: LETI Launches Russia’s First English-Taught Program on AI
AI World Society Leadership further education program is the first program in Russia that teaches students to live in a new reality, where artificial intelligence is used in all spheres of life and affects both each individual and the whole world.
What is the AI World Society Leadership program?
Highly qualified teachers and high-level disciplines. Teachers are professors of world-renowned universities: Michael Dukakis Institute for Leadership and Innovation (MDI), Harvard Kennedy School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), ETH Zürich, Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA), Northeastern University, Boston, other distinguished members of Boston Global Forum (BGF), and other acclaimed AI leaders.
Leadership skills and soft skills. Development of leadership skills and soft skills in the implementation of important social tasks.
Combination of offline and online learning formats. Traditional classes with all modern education technologies, including webinars and massive open online courses.
Certificate of Completion. Graduates will receive a certificate signed by the Alexander Popov Innovative Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Communications and the Michael Dukakis Institute for Leadership and Innovation.
According to CareerBuilder Survey, 77 percent of employers believe that soft skills are just as important as hard skills. People with more developed soft skills are more likely to be promoted, even if they are inferior to another candidate in experience and qualifications. These skills are especially needed when the widespread use of artificial intelligence is changing society.
During the year-long program, students will gain experience in critical thinking, problem-solving, public speaking, business communication, work in an international team, digital communication, organizing activities, and improve their English proficiency.
“Now that the trend is just beginning to take hold, we invite you to become a leader in the new environment, to take the lead in this change, rather than catching up afterward.”
Natalia Shevskaya, Scientific Secretary of the Alexander Popov International Innovation Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Communications
Those wishing to become students of the program need to have a general idea of artificial intelligence, the scale and speed with which it changes not only human understanding of science and society but also science and society themselves. Students should have English at the Upper-Intermediate level or higher. Enrollees are also suitable for this program if they are interested in technology, science, artificial intelligence, want to master soft skills, plan a career in IT. Students entering the AI World Society Leadership program should also understand that introduction of artificial intelligence in all human systems will inevitably lead to changes in these systems and prepare to become leaders of these changes.
For everyone who wants to participate in the AI World Society Leadership further education program, LETI will hold a webinar, during which you can ask questions about the program. The webinar will take place on July 15 at 19:00 (UTC+3). Registration is required.
