EuroSchool Mumbai students excel again!
Mumbai : Several students from Thane and Airoli EuroSchool outshine in recent sports and intellectual competitions held across the national and international levels. The students of EuroSchool, a leading network of K-12 schools brought several laurels to their school in competitions like talent search, Taekwondo and in India Chemical Society Awards of Excellence.
Achievers include:
· Airoli Shrivansh Kadam, a student of grade 4 secured 98% at international level 4 in the SpellBee competition.
· Aaditya Punatar of grade 7 received a gold medal at Dr Homi Bhabha Balvainyanik Science Talent Search competition.
· On the other hand, Purav Gala along with his classmate designed an educational application for Maths subject that is easily available on the Amazon store. The app has many videos, quizzes and worksheets for students.
EuroSchool Thane students too participated in sports activities like online Poomsae International Taekwondo Championship Singapore held on 30th May 2021 organised by Elite Sports Professional, Singapore. Out of 19 students who participated, 3 students Siyona Govandi, Yashaswini Deo and Rashi Sapra won the gold medal and 6 students won silver whereas 10 won bronze medals. Thanks to their coaches Deepak Malusare and the assistant coaches Rohit Jadhav and Samruddha Belose who mentored and trained all the winners to help them achieve these accomplishments in this competition. While some students of Thane achieved accolades in sports some who brought honours in intellectual competitions. Saee Pratapwar grade 7 won a bronze medal in the Dr Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Science Talent Search competition. Tanmay Patil secured 1st Rank at India Chemical Society Award of Excellence for his presentation on “Biofertilizer-Future Issues to Sustainable Development”.
