EuroSchool Student launches a book, emerges among the world’s youngest authors!

Pune: While the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted several aspects of schooling and daily life, some children have used their time at home to build on their passion projects. Schools and parents have also stepped in and encouraged children to pursue their interests as a break from the monotony and further fuelled children’s passions during the lockdown. One such child is Shreejay Ganesh Chaudhari. This 8-year-old grade 4 student of EuroSchool Wakad campus has registered his name as one of the world’s youngest authors as he got his first book Jivaji – The Brave Warrior officially released by Clever Fox Publishing Chennai.

His book is based on the life of a fictional character Jivaji who is the king of Jivgadh. This leader strives to protect his kingdom from enemies and is a fair and just king. Many adventurous and interesting stories of Jivaji are captured in this book. The price of the book is Rs 200 and is easily available online on Amazon. This book will be of great interest to his group of children.

Commenting after the release of the book Shreejay Chaudhari said, “I got the inspiration to write this book from the stories of Great Kings and warriors of India. The thought of being courageous and kind-hearted to everyone in society grew close to my heart. This helped me narrow down on the king that inspired me and write several chapters on his wisdom and leadership. I am thankful to my parents and school teachers who continuously supported and motivated me to write the book. This book is mainly written for children. But even elders can read it. In the past year I have also written a book on the topic Agnihotra– A Powerful Remedy (Vedic Fire Worship) against Pollution. All the expenses incurred for the book publishing are from my savings over the past few years. I also thank Clever fox Publishing – Chennai for helping us to broadcast the book.”

Renuka Dutta, Principal, EuroSchool Wakad, who was present during a book launch, expressed happiness and said, “We are very pleased that the name of Shreejay has been included among one of the world’s youngest authors. Shreejay has been a very talented student since his early grades. I could sense the writer growing inside him only when he used to participate in some plays organized by the school on some occasions. By sensing his hidden talent, we have provided him with all the resources and environment, as a result of which Shreejay has achieved one of his goals. We want Shreejay to write more books and make the school proud.”
