Every migrant labourer will get work as per merit only on the soil of Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every migrant labourer who has returned to the state during the Covid crisis will get employment on the soil of Madhya Pradesh according as per their merit. The entire team including the Chief Minister stands with you. While the migrant labourers are getting employment according to their skills through Rozgar Setu, the employers are getting labourers as per their requirement. Employers should provide employment to maximum number of migrant labourers, the government will support them in their work.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing more than 7 lakh migrant labourers and more than 19 thousand employers through Facebook Live. He also interacted with migrant labourers and employers in some districts through video conferencing. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, ACS Shri Manoj Shrivastava, ACS Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla and other officers were present.
Everyone is being given employment
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that every migrant labourer is being provided employment in the state. So far, job cards of 3 lakh 37 thousand 857 migrant labourers have been made and one lakh 62 thousand 840 have been given employment. ACS Shri Manoj Shrivastava informed that so far 45 lakh 96 thousand labourers have been provided work under MNREGA in the state.
Over 6000 employed through Rozgar Setu
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that 6004 migrant labourers have been provided employment through Rozgar Setu in the state, this process is going on continuously. Chief Secretary Shri Bains said that “Rozgar Setu” has become an ‘automatic mode’ of providing employment according to skills.
Employers said that they are getting labourers as per requirement
As many as 19 thousand 641 employers have registered in the Rozgar Setu. During a discussion with Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, they said that they are getting labourers as per their requirement through Rozgar Setu. The ‘labour problem’ that arose following Corona crisis has been solved.
All migrant labourers linked to Sambal Yojana
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all migrant labourers have been linked to the Sambal Yojana. Now they will get financial assistance for education and in case of accident, death, funeral, daughter’s wedding, maternity assistance and rebate in electricity bills.
Admission of children of migrant labourers in schools
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that in the process of enrollment in schools, 2 lakh 6 thousand 425 children in 5 to 18 age group, who returned with migrant labourers were identified and the admission process of 75 thousand 385 children was completed. Free admission of the remaining children will be ensured under the School Chale Hum Abhiyan when schools re-open.
Gharib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan
The Chief Minister said that a significant “Gharib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan” has been launched by the Government of India in 116 districts for migrant labourers, in which 24 districts of Madhya Pradesh have been included. In the Gharib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan, in addition to providing 125 days of work in place of 100 in MNREGA, additional funds will be provided for development works like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, irrigation system etc. for the betterment of migrant labourers.
Mama was thanked on getting work according to merit
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with migrant labourers of various districts who have got work through the Rozgar Setu portal through video conferencing. All of them thanked Mama for getting them work to the best of their ability and said that now they will not leave Madhya Pradesh. Shri Anoop Singh was employed with J.P. Structure, Jabalpur as Raj Mistry (expert mason), Shri Shantilal got work as mistry (mason) in Shivji Constructions, Ratlam, Shri Sumit Namdev as Computer Operator in Satna, Shri Rohit Katiyar as helper in Agya Enterprises, Bhopal, Shri Magal as labourer in B. Shantilal Patel Construction Company, Shri Rahul as helper in Messrs Anik Milk Products Pvt. Ltd. Dewas, Shri Manoj as labourer in Lansex India Pvt. Ltd. Nagda and Shri Akash Ahirwal as labourer in Bilaiya Company Sagar.
CM interacts with employers providing employment
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held a discussion with employers who are providing employment to migrant labourers through Rozgar Setu portal including Shri Vivek Agya Enterprises of Bhopal, Shri Shivkumar Shivji Construction, Ratlam, Shri Sanjay Patel of Dewas, Shri Shashidhar Sabnoon of Anik Milk Products Pvt. Ltd., Jabalpur, Shri Bilaiyya of J.P Structure Pvt. Ltd., Sagar, Shri Govind Prasad Billaiya and Sons, Shri Jagjit Contractor of Ujjain, Lansex Udyog Nagda and Shri Aman Sharma City Pride Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. Agar-Malwa. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also spoke to employers who published urgent vacancies for employment on the Rozgar Setu Portal including Shri Amit Singh, Sai Security Services of Jabalpur, Shri Brajpal Singh Pal Industries Bhopal, Shri Shambhu Dutta Sonu Plastics of Ujjain, Shri Saurabh Hardaha Nav Bharat Fertilizers Ltd. Vidisha, Shri Prashant Rath L&T Constructions Agar Malwa and Shri Apoorva Gupta Adars Woodcrafts, Satna.
