Executive Council of Aligarh Muslim University unanimously passed that there will be no summer vacation in the academic session 2020-21

Aligarh : The Executive Council of Aligarh Muslim University in its ordinary meeting held on June 14, 2021 has unanimously passed that there will be no summer vacation in the academic session 2020-21, and the teachers will be given 35 days’ detention leave in lieu of summer vacation.

The Executive Council also reiterated, the academic career of students should be the first priority of the university and all efforts should be directed at preventing loss to the students due to disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has also been emphasized by the Union Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission.
