Exhibition cum awareness camp held in Reasi

 

REASI : As part of ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today attended Exhibition cum Distribution camp held in the DC office complex where different departments exhibited their stalls displaying samples, products, pamphlets and literature of various schemes.

ADDC Jyoti Slathia; ADC Abdul Star; CPO Sunita Kanchan; Po ICDS Renu Kumari; ACD Anirudh Rai; ACR Sanjay Badyal; CHO Brij vallabh Gupta; DSWO Gulshan Kumar; Xen PWD Janak Raj; AD FCS&CA Mohammad Sayeed; DSO Sushma Gautam; A.D Handloom Chander Mohini and other district officers were also present during the programme.

The programme started with the handing over of keys of commercial vehicles to 4 MUMKIN beneficiaries. The DC congratulated the beneficiaries for their future endeavours. Beneficiaries appreciated and thanked the government for making them self-reliant.

After that DC inspected stalls of different departments. The horticulture stall was based on the theme “Plant a tree and get air for free”, showcased local Apple varieties- quince, delicious, golden, red chief apple of Bhoomag, citrus fruit, Pomelo of Pouni, walnuts of Sarhi.

Pamphlets containing information of the schemes MIDH, PMKSY, PMDP, SMAM including a layout of drip irrigation system were also displayed by the department.

Agriculture department exhibited Soil testing set for testing micro and macro nutrients, lemon grass sample, Live sample of honeybees , Milky mushroom ,summer mushroom which are being first time tried in the district, spices, organic vegetables of Bhoomag, besides literature of the schemes like PM KISAM SAMAN NIDHI, Kissan Credit card, Apiculture under CAPEX scheme.

ICDS displayed a presentation on it’s working including pamphlets of various schemes of ICDS, Poshan abhiyan, PMKVY, Beti Bachao Beti Padaho, Kitchen Garden, Sample of Hot Cooked nutritious meal provided in the Anganwadis.

Female members of SHG “Nari ke Pehchan” exhibited their craft Chabhari, Bina, Matt, laundry bin, trays, broom, Baskets, Jewellery box and other items.

Inspecting the stall of the SHG, the DC along with other district officers congratulated and applauded the women members for making Reasi proud through their recent achievement of getting listed among the top 75 stories of AtmaNirbharRuralwomen India.

Later, a colourful Rangoli based on “Jal Shakti Mission” was displayed by ICDS department bearing the message of Go Green, Save water and Save life.
