Exhibition space “Talking War Exhibits”

During the industrial practice, students of the Department of Tourism with the head of the practice, senior teacher Anna Ivanovna Belan and the head of the social and cultural center of the NKF “New Education” Galina Vasilyevna Stepanova, visited the activist Vladimir Kulnev.
Vladimir Kulnev turned to the Department of Tourism with a request to create a systematized catalog of exhibits from the Great Patriotic War.

Vladimir Kulnev, on his own, creates the exhibition space “Talking War Exhibits”. The exhibition space contains such exhibits as: soldier’s helmets, flasks, bowlers, shovels, Canadian Finnish utensils and much more. Vladimir found all the exhibits on his own in many trips and expeditions in the Lososinnoye area. Vladimir spends all his free time on expeditions and studies the history of Canadian Finns.

Vladimir Kulnev told the students about his expeditions and exhibits.

The Department of Tourism plans to conduct a joint trip with Vladimir Kulnev on an expedition to the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War in the Lososinnoye area in the near future. Students of the Department of Tourism will help in organizing exhibition space and collecting information on the topic “Canadian Finns in Karelia”, with further writing scientific articles.

The goal of Vladimir Kulnev is to involve young people in the exhibition space and to organize patriotic education and respect for those who made an invaluable contribution to the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
