Experts to discuss Innovative Business Strategies in Times of Covid-19 Crisis at Great Lakes, Gurgaon’s Virtual Management Conclave

Gurugram: Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, one of the premier business schools in the country is hosting Sapience 2020-21, its annual management conclave this month with the theme of “Crisis Inspiring Innovation”. The conclave, which goes digital this year, will be between 16th-31st, January featuring keynote talk, and panel discussions on innovative business strategies across different industry verticals in the backdrop of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

 

Sapience 2020-2021 will have six-panel discussions, spread across 15 days, on Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource & Organizational Behavior.Captains of the industry, entrepreneurs, and management experts from different sectors are set to take part in the event.

 

Commenting about the event, Dr. Debashis Sanyal, Director, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, said, “The outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic dealt a big blow to the businesses globally. However, it has opened avenues for lateral thinking. Businesses have come up with several innovations and adopted new tools and techniques to accommodate the new normal. Our annual management conclave, Sapience 2020-21, will serve as a platform for industry leaders to share those innovative ideas that have helped businesses across industries emerge stronger and better prepared.”

 

DrSanyal pointed out that from time to time, the world of business has faced many economic, natural, and social crises in the past. “But crises have always inspired innovations. There is a need for businesses to be resilient, and agile, especially at times of unprecedented crisis like the Covid-19 pandemic,” he emphasized.

 

The Keynote session will be held on January 16th. The panel discussion on Marketing is slated for January 18th followed by Entrepreneurship on January 21st, Finance will be held on January 23rd and Analytics on 29th. The panel discussions on HR & OB, and Operations will be organized on January 30th, and 31st respectively. All the sessions are scheduled between 4:30 – 6:00 PM.
