Extensive Fogging Operation conducted in various Halls of Residences and colonies on the campus of the Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh : Extensive Anti Adult Mosquito Fogging operations are being conducted in various Halls of Residences and colonies on the campus of the Aligarh Muslim University. The drive is being conducted by the University Health Office. A detailed roaster for the fogging drive has been prepared covering the whole campus.

The University Health Office has also appealed to the students and residents in AMU to maintain hygiene and cleanliness. Garbage should be disposed of properly at the earmarked dustbins. The office is removing and disposing of the garbage from these collection points on a regular basis.

The University Health Office deals with environmental sanitation of the University campus and colonies which are maintained by the University. The main tasks include sweeping and cleaning of roads and the surroundings of all the buildings on the University Campus, collection and disposal of solid waste, vector control program, and cleaning of drains.

With the support and awareness of staff, students, and all stakeholders, the university is committed to the green and sustainable development of the campus. For this University has increased mechanization for cleaning and recycling work.
