Facebook Live event to announce winners of India’s first Venture Capital Fund Competition

Atria University, backed by South-India based business conglomerate – Atria Group, launched India’s first Venture Capital Fund Competition for high-school students to provide a rare platform for young, aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch innovative business solutions beginning 17th May 2020.

On 10th June, Atria University will announce top 3 ideas through a Facebook Live event. The students will win a cumulative initial commitment of 30 lakhs and mentorship from industry leaders.

Atria University has shortlisted 8 finalist for this competition. Some of the innovative ideas pitched by the students include, Blood donation-from-home services in wake of the current situation, an app to spot parking spaces in crowded areas, a software to harness the power of artificial intelligence to reduce human error and improve efficiency in healthcare organizations. An app-based doorstep waste collection service, a virtual assistant that will simplify day to day life of humans and more.
