Faculty member delivers lecture
Aligarh: Prof Nawab Ali Khan, Department of Commerce, AMU delivered an invited lecture as a Resource Person in the One Week Short Term Course on Outcome Based Teaching, Learning and Assessment in the New Normal organised by University of Kerala Study and Research Centre (UKSRC) Alappuzha & Department of Commerce in collaboration with UGC- Human Resource Development Centre university of Kerala.
Prof Khan pointed out that outcome based education, as the name suggests depends on outcomes and not inputs. The outcomes in OBE are expected to be measurable. In fact, each Educational Institute can state its own outcomes. The ultimate goal is to ensure that there is a correlation between education and employability.
Prof Khan concluded with the remark that the technology-aided teaching methods and assessments would enable education institutions to accurately and perfectly map with the targeted outcome.
The Course was attended by a large number of students, research scholars and teachers.
