Faculty of Law at Marwadi University Enlisted as one of the Top Law Schools of India by Forbes India in the Legal Powerlist 2020
Rajkot: Marwadi University, Faculty of Law, has been listed as one of the Top Law Schools of India by Forbes India in the Legal Powerlist 2020 – a proud feat for the university and the State of Gujarat. The ‘Top Law Schools’ category of the Forbes India- Legal Powerlist 2020 recognises the Law Schools that are most efficaciously training students to be zealous Lawyers and outstanding professionals. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rhishikesh Dave, Dean – Faculty of Law, Marwadi University, said “Marwadi University, Faculty of Law, is one of the youngest and fastest-growing law schools of Gujarat – making a name in the national and international arena. Getting featured in the FORBES LEGAL POWERLIST 2020 is indeed an honour and also suggests that we are working in the right direction to fulfil the vision of making this law school one of the best institutes across the globe”
This Powerlist was announced by Forbes India wherein an eminent Jury of Experts selected the top law schools from a host of pre-decided criteria. The power list included various categories like Top Law Firms, Top Advocates, Top Managing Partners, Top in-house Counsels, to name a few. Dr Sandeep Sancheti, Provost, Marwadi University praised the Faculty of Law for their admirable efforts and added “Looking at the huge global demand for highly skilled lawyers and companies like TATA, Reliance, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, ICICI Bank, regularly recruiting corporate lawyers in large numbers, MU emphasises on preparing law graduates who are ready for the profession from the day of their graduation, through outcome-based holistic legal education and offering electives on emerging areas of Law”.
