Failed students need not be disappointed: Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that students who failed in the 2020 Board of Secondary Education examination should not be disappointed. The “Ruk Jana Nahin” scheme has been launched for them. Under this scheme, students who have failed will be given opportunity to reappear in the exam. Under the scheme, the eligible students can register for the examination for Class Xth till July 28 and Class XIIth till August 5 through online kiosks or deposit their prescribed fee online.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the students who have passed the Class Xth examination in the year 2018 under “Ruk Jana Nahin” Yojana, but could not appear in the Class XIIth examination, can also avail the benefits of the scheme and appear in the examination to be held in August. The question papers of the examination will be based on the syllabus of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education and examination for the subject failed in will be taken.
There is also a provision in the “Ruk Jana Nahin” Yojana that if for some reason the candidates are not able to pass in the month of August 2020, then they can give the examination for the remaining subjects in which they have failed in the month of December 2020. For this, they will have to register online again. In this way, students will also be given another opportunity.
Only those candidates who have passed in the first phase examination held in July 2020 will be eligible for regular admission in Class XIth. Students who passed in the second phase will not get regular admission in Class XIth. But they will be able to appear in the Class XIIth examination under the “Ruk Jana Nahin” scheme in the year 2022.
