Families of deceased employees of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) to get benefits at earliest

Aligarh: For the families of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Teaching and Non-Teaching employees, who lost their lives in the Covid pandemic, the university administration has sped up the process to provide them with their legitimate entitled benefits.

In an official notice, AMU Registrar, Mr Abdul Hamid (IPS) has requested all the heads of the departments/offices to immediately send the names, designations and other details with relevant documents providing details of the deceased employees to the Service Book and Pension sections of the Registrar’s Office for initiating the necessary actions at the earliest.

The Registrar has also advised the concerned sections of the Registrar Office and Finance Office to process the papers/files for the benefit of these families on a priority basis.
