FDP on ‘Machinery Condition Monitoring’ concludes

 

Aligarh, January 17 : The five-day long deliberations on how to maintain machine health, improve service and reduce downtime with machine condition monitoring in the online AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Cell sponsored Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Machinery Condition Monitoring’ of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Z H College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) concluded with an online valedictory function.

“The FDP has surely enhanced functional area expertise, improved the classroom delivery of participants both as teachers and trainers and further strengthened their abilities to conduct more cutting edge research”, said Prof M Muzammil (Chairman, Department of Mechanical Engineering).

Prof A R Mohanty (Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur) pointed out: “The experience of this FDP has provided the participants with useful updates in research and pedagogical skills. I am sure that the participants will leave with an adequate understanding on how condition monitoring diagnostics determine the health of machines based on various measured conditions”.

Dr Sidra Khanam (FDP Coordinator) gave a brief on deliberations by resource persons from different backgrounds on essential aspects of condition monitoring.

Ateeb Ahmad Khan (FDP Co-Coordinator) extended the vote of thanks.

Participants from across the academia and industry including various Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institute of Sciences, Jindal Steel and Adani Dahanu among others gave their feedback on how the FDP deliberations provided them with knowledge on new skills.
