FDP on ‘Seismic Safety of Structures’ from October 4

Aligarh : A week-long, online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) of the Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on ‘Seismic Safety of Structures’ sponsored by AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy will begin from October 4.

“Eminent speakers from IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, NIDM, NITTTR and other reputed institutes will deliver the lectures in the FDP. The programme will have useful discussions on revised codal provision and impact on the modelling and analysis of structures”, said patron of the programme, Prof Abdul Baqi (Chairman, Department of Civil Engineering).

Prof Mohammad Arif and Prof Rehan A Khan are the FDP Conveners. Prof Rizwan Ahmad Khan is the Coordinator with Dr Zaid and Dr Moin as the Co-coordinators.
