FICCI, FLO, Uttarakhand chapter is going to organize; FLO Bazaar on 5 & 6 Oct in Dehradun
Dehradun : FICCI, FLO, Uttarakhand chapter is thrilled to announce the 8th edition of its annual event, the FLO Bazaar, set to take place this weekend on 5th and 6th October 2024 at Hotel Aketa, Rajpur Road.
Addressing the media at press club Dehradun, Dr. Charu Chauhan, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Uttarakhand Said “This year’s event will be inaugurated by the renowned actress and former Miss India International, Ms. Pooja Batra, who will grace the Bazaar with her presence on 5th October. The FLO Bazaar has become a cornerstone event, offering an exceptional platform for lifestyle and fashion brands, many of which are owned by women entrepreneurs, to showcase their products. In addition, local businesses will also feature prominently, presenting handicrafts and unique items that highlight the rich culture of Uttarakhand and support small businesses.
The FLO Bazaar continues to provide a powerful platform for women-led businesses and local artisans to showcase their creativity and reach a larger audience. We aim to promote camaraderie and financial empowerment, especially for women entrepreneurs, while celebrating the local culture of Uttarakhand. This event is more than just a shopping experience—it is an opportunity to support small businesses and foster community spirit.”
The two-day event will feature various festive activities such as an art competition for children, live performances by local talent from Dehradun, and a special performance by the children of Olympus High School. Guests will also be treated to delicious food, creating a wholesome and lively atmosphere for families to enjoy.
On the second day, 6th October, the closing ceremony will host Sushree P. Renuka Devi, DIG Law & Order, Uttarakhand Police, as the Chief Guest. Her presence will mark the culmination of what promises to be an exciting and empowering weekend for businesses and attendees alike.
