FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), the women business wing of FICCI signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India -EU Trade Council & The Good Government Affairs International
New Delhi : FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), the women business wing of FICCI signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India -EU Trade Council & The Good Government Affairs International , an advocacy group at Stockholm, Sweden for enhancing bilateral trade with EU countries and supporting women entrepreneurs.
FICCI FLO was represented by National President Joyshree Das Verma and Lena Backer, Chairperson signed on behalf of India EU Trade Council and the Good Government Affair, in the presence of Saila Quicklund, Swedish Member of Parliament and Michael Berglund, Senior Advisor to the Chair of Good Government Affairs International.
“The signing of MoU is a significant step towards enhancing trade and supporting women entrepreneurs, especially in the key sectors such as textiles and apparel, handicrafts, agriculture , food processing, IT and digital services, health and wellness products, sustainable and eco friendly products, tourism and hospitality industry.” Said Ms Joyshree Das Verma, National President, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO)
“During its delegation visit to Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Latvia FLO is working towards exploring the possibilities and opportunities of enhancing India -EU business relationship, fostering a platform for new business relationships especially between women entrepreneurs.” Said Ms Verma.
As part of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) Business Delegation, 63 women entrepreneurs and professionals are currently visiting Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Latvia .
During the FLO tour, a business meeting was hosted at City Hall in Helsinki, Finland by Helsinki Partners, a city marketing, investment, and talent attraction company owned by the City of Helsinki. The opportunities offered at the meet included setting up or expanding one’s company in Finland , finding quality deal flow and investment opportunities, or starting a new career in Finland’s capital.
Indian Ambassador to Finland HE Shri Hemant Kotalwar addressed the members and spoke about India Finland Relations and how FICCI FLO delegation is a step forward.
