Films Division and IDPA webinar on fundraising for documentary and short-film makers

New Delhi: Films Division, in collaboration with Indian Documentary Producers’ Association (IDPA), is taking a step forward in boosting the morale of documentary and short film makers by organizing a Webinar on ‘Crowdfunding’ on 17th August 2020 from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on Google Meet. The event will be conducted by ‘Crowdera’ for which participation is free but pre registration is mandatory.

Major concerns that will be covered in the webinar cum workshop include – Introduction to Film Fundraising, Modern Fundraising Shift, Developing Project Story Creation, Designing Pre and Post launch strategies and leveraging the social media for growth. In addition to this, many other relevant topics will also be discussed. The webinar will be followed by a Q&A session.

Mr. Chet Jain of Crowdera, which is a crowdfunding platform for non-profit foundations and social innovators among others, will address the session and share his expertise. He is an Indian serial entrepreneur from Silicon Valley, California and Singapore and has worked with many leading global organizations in India as well as in the US.
