Finnish for Karelian Customs Officers

At the faculty of advanced training and professional retraining of PetrSU, advanced training courses have begun for officials of the Karelian customs on the additional professional advanced training program “Finnish language in the field of professional communication for customs officials: level A2.2”.
The program was developed at the Department of Baltic-Finnish Philology of the Institute of Philology of PetrSU.

The purpose of the training is to continue the study of Finnish as a foreign language with the aim of developing and deepening the practical knowledge of colloquial speech, mastering new vocabulary defined by the conversational topics of the course, reading technique and correct pronunciation, developing writing skills in Finnish, mastering the basic grammatical structures of the studied language, developing motivation self-study of the language.

Classes are conducted by teachers of the Department of Baltic-Finnish Philology of the Institute of Philology of PetrSU: senior teacher Svetlana Valerievna Korobeinikova and teacher Tatyana Andreevna Morozova.
