Finnish Quantum Computer Maker IQM’s Co-Founder in Advisory Board of India’s 1st Quantum Computing Tech. Park

 

New Delhi: Dr Juha Vartiainen, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of IQM, which is first Quantum Computer Maker of Finland, has been nominated in high level Advisory Board of India’s first Quantum Computing Tech. Park, GKQCTP (Greater Karnavati Quantum Computing Technology Park), which is proposed to come up in state of Gujarat.

 

Recently promoter of GKQCTP, Innogress sent an invitation to IQM Co-Founder Dr Juha Vartiainen who is instrumental in innovating design, engineering, and manufacturing of Finland’s first Quantum computer in collaboration with Finnish Govt. research entity VTT. Recently IQM Quantum Computers has opened a dedicated fabrication facility to design, research, and manufacture its quantum processors at Espoo, Finland.

 

Recently Founding Partner of Innogress, Mr. Sumant Parimal, who is leading promotion of ‘GKQCTP’ project has also invited Laura Thomas, VP of Corporate Strategy at US-based Quantum Sensing and Computing Company, ColdQuanta in Advisory Boad of ‘GKQCTP’. Laura Thomas is an ex-CIA officer from America and an expert in quantum communication & security which are key for secured defense communication.

 

Recently the promoter team also visited some of the shortlisted project sites for ‘GKQCTP’ at upcoming Dholera SIR and requested Govt. of Gujarat to map 100 Acres of industrial land parcel of this first Quantum Computing Tech. Park.

 

‘GKQCTP’ project also got some initial investment interests from Gujarat based local investors for an undisclosed amount.
