Finolex Cables under its CSR initiative renovates the operating theatre of Inlaks and Budhrani hospital in Pune

Pune: Finolex Cables, India’s largest and prominent manufacturer of electrical and telecommunication cables has renovated an operating room at the Inlaks and Budhrani Hospital, a multi-disciplinary non-profit general hospital that provides a variety of medical services to the poor. The renovation of the operation theater, which is used to perform 2-3 surgeries lasting 6-7 hours regularly was completed under the CSR initiative of Finolex Cables.

 

The initiative has helped the hospital to equip its operating theater with NABH certified high-tech equipment such as Carl Zesis operative microscope, Stryker microdrill system, Harmonic scalpel, ICG camera system along with panels, humidity and pressure controls, etc. that are used to perform major surgeries such as oncology, neurosurgery, microvascular, general open surgeries, and laparoscopic surgeries.

The set up of the operation theatre was completed as per the desired norms and the renovated theatre and was inaugurated by Radhika Chhabria (Deputy Marketing Manager) and Mr. Mahesh Vishwanathan, (CFO), Finolex Cables.
