First Job Fair organized by Medha at Mayawati Govt. Girls P.G. College, Badalpur

Greater Noida: Medha, a non profit organization, organized the very first Job Fair for all the students of Mayawati Govt. Girls P.G. College. Over 100 students participated and applied for jobs at this fair.

Dr. Divya Nath, the principal of the college inaugurated the Job Fair by welcoming all the employers and appreciating the efforts of Medha in organizing this for the students. Renowned companies namely, HDFC Life Insurance, Picnara Pvt. Ltd., Minkya Onkyo, Gandhi Fellowship and MinkyaDenso Ten Pvt. Ltd participated, largely offering roles in the field of business development.

S. Sashtri, an employer present at this fair said, “The kind of work Medha is doing to reduce unemployability is commendable. Secondly, they are also helping the youth to realize the full potential of the education and degrees that they are pursuing.”

Medha is a nonprofit organization that better prepares youth for life after school. As a part of its education to employability program, Medha is working to build an India with equal career opportunities for youth; irrespective of gender, class, or caste. The organization provides 21st-century skills training, career counseling and workplace exposure, and ongoing job placement and alumni support to students at their existing educational institution.

Mayawati Govt Girls P. G. College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in faculties of humanities, science, commerce, and education. It was started as an arts graduate college in 1997 and is situated at Badalpur village of Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh. It is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University.Badalpur is a village located in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The village is the hometown of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mayawati.
