First Meet of AHPI Haryana Chapter Held at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad
Faridabad: The newly formed Haryana Chapter of the Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) held its first-ever meet at Amrita Hospital in Faridabad.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Girdhar J. Gyani, Director General, AHPI. Dr. Puneeta Hasija, President, AHPI, was also present.
In his welcome address, Dr. Giridhar Gyani said: “Today we have launched the 20th Chapter of Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) for Haryana. The basic aim of this chapter is that hospitals in Haryana can network and discuss the common issues on which they can talk to the government. This association will work with the Govt of Haryana and Govt of India to support the universal healthcare programs such as Ayushman Bharat, CGHS etc. At the same time, it will also help in building capacity in the Indian health system with a focus on providing affordable and quality healthcare”
Dr. Sanjeev Singh, President, AHPI Haryana Chapter, who is also the Medical Director, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, said: “We are extremely happy to host the first-ever meet of Haryana Chapter of AHPI at Amrita Hospital. Such an organization in Haryana was long needed to represent the healthcare providers of the state to advocate with the Government and work towards the vision of having a healthy India and Haryana, encompassing the society, community and common man at grass roots.”
Many well-known personalities from hospitals in Haryana were a part of the meet. Prominent attendees from Faridabad included Dr. Ajay Dogra (Fortis Hospital), Dr. Rakesh Gupta and Dr. Saurabh Gahlote (Sarvodaya Hospital) Dr. Rajiv Singhal (Marengo Asia); Dr Narender Pandey and Dr. Ramesh Chandna (Asian Hospital); Dr. SS Bansal (SSB Hospital, Faridabad); Dr. Seema Bansal, (Metro Hospital) and Dr. Sanjeev Singh, Dr. Neeraj Narayan Mathur and Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Medical Superintendent (Amrita Hospital).
From Gurugram, several prominent doctors attended the meeting, such as Dr. Sandeep Dawar (Medanta Hospital), Dr. Jitendra Sharma (Artemis Hospital) and Dr. Kapil Garg (Paras Hospital). Dr. Prashant Tyagi (Sonipat) and Dr. Arvind Dahiya (Rohtak) were also among the participants.
