Five Covid-19 Patients including Three Resident Doctors Recovered and Discharged from JNMC, AMU

Aligarh: The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), AMU has emerged the frontline hospital of Uttar Pradesh and it achieved remarkable success in curbing the Covid-19 pandemic as five patients admitted in the COVID special ward have been recovered and discharged. It has conducted nearly 7000 COVID tests so far.

Three Corona positive resident doctors, Dr Anant Sharma, Dr Sameera and Dr Shabnoor have been recovered and discharged. Dr Sameera was treated by Prof Rakesh Bhargava and Dr Kaamil Ashraf, while Dr Shabnoor was treated by Prof SF Haque and Dr Aslam.

According to Prof Shahid Ali Siddiqui, Principal, JNMC, now six patients are admitted in the COVID special ward of the medical college and they are getting proper medical care.

The Vice Chancellor Professor Tariq Mansoor expressed his satisfaction over their full and speedy recovery and appreciated the relentless and exemplary work of doctors and other health care workers. “It is remarkable to note that five Covid-19 patients recovered and discharged from medical college , it will certainly boost the morale of health workers who are working round the clock to fight against the pandemic.”, he added
