Five-day workshop begins on personality development

ALIGARH: A five-day workshop on ‘Personality Development and Career Counseling’ was held for the postgraduate students at the Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the Training and Placement Office (General).

Inaugurating the workshop, Chairperson, Prof. Nishat Fatima said such workshops help students improve soft skills for various job opportunities and enhance their career by training their minds according to the job requirements.

Training and Placement Officer, General, Mr. Saad Hameed urged the participants to focus on goals and aspirations with improvement in personality development and soft skills. He discussed the benefits of positive attitude and personality development skills they will learn during the workshop.

Workshop Coordinator, Dr. Muzamil Mushtaq elaborated on the details of the workshop schedule including the career counseling sessions, self-introduction, interest talk, podium speaking, CV writing, rubrics of job interviews and other concerned areas.
