Fliplearn partners with ScholARlab Innovations to introduce Virtual Science Labs for Schools across India
New Delhi: Fliplearn, India’s leading ed-tech platform, has announced a partnership with ScholARlab Innovations, a Pune-based edtech start-up that is revolutionizing practical learning and innovation among STEM students with their experiential learning lab called “ScholAR.”* The partnership will enable schools and students to continue with the all-important Laboratory work virtually in pandemic times, as also greater scope for innovation and experimentation.
Award-winning e-learning platform Fliplearn Edge, which will now distribute ScholAR through its network of schools. In just the last one year, over 400 schools and 4 lakh students are using the platform for effective teaching-learning in times of lockdown and school closure. Fliplearn Edge has an array of impressive features that help to simplify teaching and make it more engaging for students. At the same time, features like virtual live conferencing, assigning homework online, curated world class content, 3-D videos, automated corrections – both subjective and objective, creating Test Papers online and individual student and class performance reviews give control and flexibility to teachers to teach virtually. With the addition of ScholAR, Fliplearn gives students a means of accessing laboratory assignments which have so far been out of reach due to lockdowns and no access to physical labs.
ScholAR is an experiments-based learning platform that aims to bring the laboratory and outside world into the classroom. ScholAR enforces interactivity – it brings Science experiments to Life using advanced immersive visualization techniques. Experiments in ScholAR are called “Simulations” and are designed to capture the imagination of young minds. The content is a treasure trove of science experiments and is designed for teachers and students of grade 6 – 12. The virtual lab product persuades young minds to explore, experience by doing things themselves; and thereby spark critical thinking and higher order thinking aspects in them.
