FLO Bazaar – Lifestyle & Fashion Exhibition woos fashionistas of Doon

DGP Ashok Kumar felicitates Corona Warriors

 Dehradun: The 5th edition of FLO Bazaar, a Lifestyle & Fashion Exhibition cum Trade Fair by the Uttarakhand chapter of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), was held at Hotel Madhuban today. The inauguration of the FLO Bazaar was done by the National Vice President, Yuva Morcha BJP, Neha Joshi, and Chairperson FLO Uttarakhand Komal Batra along with the committee members.

The exhibition commenced with the felicitation ceremony of all the entrepreneurs who had put up their stalls by the Special Guest Neha Joshi. This was followed by a cultural invocation by the students of Doon Heritage School.

The exhibition showcased more than 50 stalls of vibrant collections by entrepreneurs from all over North India as well as NGOs exhibiting Handloom & Textiles, jewelry, apparel, home decor, wedding trousseau, gifting, natural beauty, and healthcare products, accessories, digital security, among many more.

During the day, a Corona Warrior Award Ceremony was also held wherein over 36 corona warriors, including Dr. Neha Sharma, Dr. Anuradha Malla, Smriti Batta, Poonam Kumar, Dr. Geeta Khanna, Maneet Suri, Mansi Virmani, Vaidya Shikha Prakash, Vaidya Jasmine Sehgal, Dr. Mansi Rastogi, Deepa Dhami, Amaya, Samarpan Society, Adarsh Medicos, Food From Home, Premier Nutraceuticals, M. S. Naroola Memorial Charitable Trust, Vikas Brick Fields, Just Open Yourself, Four Points by Sheraton, Bungalow Lounge & Restaurant, Punjab Grill Restaurant, Hotel Moti Mahal, Hotel MJ Residency, Hotel LP Residency, Lata Mohan, Usha Gupta, Shakun Chandra, Nita Virmani, Neera Chhachra, Deepa Gupta, Beena Windlass, Shashi Kanodia, Saroj Gupta, Anku Bakshi, Kairos Consciousness and Bharat Vikas Parishad were felicitated by the Director-General of Police, Uttarakhand Ashok Kumar.

The highlight of the shopping extravaganza was an innovative and environment-friendly activity for kids titled ‘Trash to Treasure’, wherein the kids were asked to reuse items they would otherwise throw away and make something new and useful from the same.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson FLO Uttarakhand Komal Batra said, “The FLO Bazaar is an ideal platform for entrepreneurs to foster sustainable business opportunities. The 5th edition of the bazaar witnessed a huge turnover of visitors from across the city. Apart from the great shopping experience at FLO Bazaar, the visitors also took part in the basic health check-up camp that was put up free of cost for everybody.”

The exhibition also had live music performances by the budding musicians of Dehradun.
