Following PM Modi’s VSK launch, Uttarakhand becomes the 2nd state to launch Vidhya Samiksha Kendra powered by SwiftChat

~Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Unveils VSK Model in Uttarakhand, says Gujarat and Uttarakhand will be role models for the nation

In a groundbreaking moment for Uttarakhand’s education sector, the Honourable Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, officially unveiled the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) along with Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Education Minister, Shri Dhan Singh Rawat. The VSK model draws inspiration from the data-driven education vision championed by Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and follows in the footsteps of its successful launch in Gujarat last year. Presently, more than 5 lakh students and 50,000 teachers from 16,000+ schools are connected through this platform with Uttarakhand’s Vidhya Samiksha Kendra, with a goal to encompass all 22,000+ schools by November 2023.

“Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership brought VSK to life in Gujarat, and today, Uttarakhand stands as the second state in India to introduce a comprehensive VSK. We are poised to set examples for all states in promoting evidence-based education and governance,” declared Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. He went on to emphasise the transformative nature of the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra, highlighting how Uttarakhand has integrated key programs, spanning from NIPUN to NEP, student attendance to student assessment, teacher transfers to teacher training, with the provision of LIVE dashboards with timely alerts. The impact of these efforts is already visible.

Minister Pradhan personally experienced the VSK facility enabling real-time educational transactions powered by SwiftChat, a conversational AI platform by ConveGenius. This platform leverages advanced data infrastructure and inclusive vernacular EdTech capabilities. Under VSK, the state envisions the “3S promise,” aimed at ensuring Sampoorn Students, Samarth Teachers, and Sashakt Administrators.

The SwiftChat-powered bots utilised in VSK act as digital companions, offering guidance to students, support to teachers, and valuable data for administrators, often even before it is requested. These omnichannel chatbots encompass various use cases, including remedial practice and content libraries for students, teaching assistance, NIPUN Assessment, and Live report bots for teachers, as well as parent communication, school inspections, and spot assessment bots for administration.

Shashank Pandey, President of the ConveGenius Group, emphasised that VSK will usher in a new era of swift, smart, and simple AI technology integration in education. It will also establish a culture of data-driven decision-making within the state. VSK provides impact dashboards and actionable reports via chatbots to all districts, blocks, and individual schools, offering invaluable insights into student progress, teacher professional development, and overall school quality. With real-time feedback, teachers can now fine-tune their teaching strategies, ensuring every student receives the necessary attention to enhance learning outcomes.

As VSK embarks on its journey, Uttarakhand takes a resolute step towards redefining education for its future generations.
