Forest division Kulgam organises plantation drive

Kulgam: Under My Town My Pride programme, Forest division Kulgam today organised a plantation drive at twin Kulgam and Yaripora towns.
At Kulgam the drive was kick started by Principal Secretary PDD and Information Department, Rohit Kansal by planting coniferous plants.
DDC Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat also participated in the plantation drive.
At Yaripora Director Tourism Kashmir, Nisar Ahmad Wani initiated the plantation programme.
District Forest Officer, Forest Division Kulgam, Syed Waseem said that such drives will continue in future too.
Later, the DDC chaired a separate meeting with BDC’s and PRI”s.
On the occasion DDC highlighted the role of members of PRI’s to carry forward the mission of development.
