Former JK governor to deliver lecture

Aligarh: Mr N N Vohra, former Governor, Jammu and Kashmir will speak on ‘Governance-Responsibility of the Polity and the Public Services’ in the online ‘Centenary Year Sir Syed Memorial Lecture-2020’ in which he will shed light on the role of government, the concept of good governance, the process of decision-making, key actors in governance, participation by all sections of society and equity and inclusiveness.

According to Professor Ali Mohammad Naqvi (Director, Sir Syed Academy, Aligarh Muslim University), the Sir Syed Academy, will organise the lecture, which will take place on September 9 from 11: 00 am.

AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor will deliver the presidential remarks, whereas Dr Mohammad Shahid (Deputy Director, Sir Syed Academy) will extend the vote of thanks.
