Foundation of Yoga and Shiksha Bhavan laid in Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Ujjain
Bhopal : Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel has said that it is must to pay attention to both security of life and livelihood in battle against Covid. She urged youths to make efforts constantly in order to fulfill their dreams. Success is sure. There are many instances in our history, when the works of social, economic and national re-building have been successfully accomplished with new energy after major crises and challenges. Smt. Patel was addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Yogeshwar Shri Krishna Yoga Bhavan and Acharya Sandipani Shiksha Bhavan of Maharishi Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University online from Lucknow Raj Bhavan today.
Governor Smt. Anandi Ben Patel has called upon for moving forward with the goal of the best in every field to realize the vision of Ek Bharat Sarvashreshtha Bharat. It has to be decided that ordinary will not work. Aim for the best production, the best labour and the best governance. She said that the future of the country and the youth is bright. With the ‘National Education Policy’, a new quality education system will develop, which will pave the way for a new India by turning future challenges into opportunities. The National Education Policy is a visionary and far-sighted policy. Efforts to strengthen inclusion, innovation and institutional values in education are essential for successful implementation. She said that the university should prepare a comprehensive action plan in the modern context of expansion of Sanskrit language and literature as per the new education policy. In order to develop the quality of self-reliance in the students, emphasis should be laid on practical studies along with theoretical study-teaching of all the courses. One of the major objectives of Sanskrit education is to create a well qualified citizen. Teacher training programmes should be organized by incorporating values based education for the creation of best teachers in the University.
Governor Smt. Patel further said that every citizen should take a pledge for self-reliant India. Everyone should decide that they will contribute in minimizing imports. Will become vocal for local in strengthening small scale industries and innovate more and more. With the pledge to work with mind, promise and deeds, all will strive for the welfare of youths, women, tribals, scheduled caste, handicapped, poor and people of backward class and for strengthening other sectors. She appreciated the positive efforts of the university in transforming the adverse situation under the lockdown period into an opportunity.
Minister for Higher Education Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that efforts should be made to transform the University into world class University. The requirements of the University should be identified and presented in order of priority. Efforts will be made to fulfill the requirements for NAAC and UGC recognition at the earliest. He said that the importance of yoga has been further strengthened in the efforts to prevent Covid-19 infection. The effort to construct Yoga Bhavan at this time is a timely initiative. My heartiest congratulations to the University Management, he added.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Pakaj Jani informed that the building is being constructed with the financial resources of the university. The construction work of the building is being carried out by the Mandi Board. The construction cost is estimated at Rs. 60 lakh. On this occasion, he performed the Bhumi Pujan work duly following rituals.
