Free Medical Health Camp and Check-up organized at AMU
Aligarh : The department of Community Medicine, J.N. Medical College, AMU in collaboration with a Club orchestrated a free Medical Health Camp, with a focus on Women Empowerment. This noble initiative catered to the healthcare needs of more than 80 underserved females in the reproductive age group.
The camp encompassed a wide array of services, including enlightening health talks; free distribution of essential medications, vital testing for hemoglobin and blood sugar levels, individualized counseling sessions, and comprehensive general examinations.
The speakers on the occasion Dr. Hameeda Tariq (Paediatrician) and Prof. Saira Mehnaz Chairperson of the department, emphasized the criticality of maintaining a balanced diet for holistic well-being, while also shedding light on the significance of hygiene practices and female empowerment. Dr. Fatima Khan engaged the attendees with an interactive session on hand washing techniques, underlining its pivotal role in maintaining good health.
Dr Faiza Abbasi Director UGC-HRD Centre AMU initiated the programme.
The seamless execution of the camp was made possible by the unwavering dedication and collaborative efforts of doctors, residents, interns, and technicians from AMU.
