Free pacemaker interrogation camp organized

ALIGARH  : The Department of Cardiology, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University organized a free Pacemaker Interrogation Camp where all types of Pacemakers including Single Chamber, Double Chamber, ICDs and CRTS were cheeked and programmed by the representatives from Medtronic, USA, St. Jude and Biotronics, and necessary setting of the parameters were done.

Prof. Asif Hasan, Chairman of the department highlighted the state of the art facilities available in the department, including variety of interrogation like Coronary angioplasty, Pacing Devices and Ballooning. He said more than 60 patients were checked for their pacemakers out of which several cases were equipped for early replacement.

He said that such camps are helpful for patients from Aligarh district and it also creates awareness about the importance of pacemakers and heart failure related devices.
