Freedom Cooking Oils partners with Akshaya Patra Foundation, to provide 3 Food Delivery Vehicles in TS

Will help in providing over 20000 rural Mid-day meals to Government School Children

 

 

Hyderabad: Gemini Edibles and Fats India Ltd (GEF India), the marketers of Freedom Cooking Oils as a part of their CSR initiative have partnered with Akshaya Patra Foundation and pledges to support 3 customized food delivery vehicles at Kandi kitchen, Sanga Reddy. Thereby it will help in reaching more than 20,000 rural Mid-day meals beneficiaries and ensure that the Government school children get nutritious and hot cooked meals every day. Each vehicle can reach out to 4000+ beneficiaries for distributing the meals and will also help in taking care of COVID Food Relief work. GEF India is extending the support to provide 6 such vehicles across AP, Telangana, Odisha and Karnataka.

 

Akshaya Patra Foundation Team Shri Yagneshwara Prabhu, Vice President-Hyderabad Akshaya Patra Chapter, Ms. Rajini Sinha, State Head, Shri Rohit Choudhary -National Director have expressed their gratitude to GEF India for their dedicated support in feeding nutritious food to the Government School Children of Telangana State.

 

Speaking at the occasion Mr. P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Freedom Cooking Oils, “We are pleased to partner with Akshaya Patra, and support them with 3 customized food delivery vehicles to provide nutritious and hot cooked meals to the Government school children in the state, and help in COVID food relief work. We are supporting Akshaya Patra with 6 such vehicles across different locations.
