Fresher’s Day 2023 celebrated at Gayathri Degree college
Hyderabad : Gayathri Group of Institutions proudly introduced its new college, Gayathri Degree College for Women, and celebrated its first Fresher’s Day in 2023 under the theme “Bloom-up: The Budding Stars!” The college offers two dynamic courses: B.Com.CA and BBA. The event was graced by notable individuals, including Chairman D. Buchi Reddy Garu, Academic Director Smt. Harika Reddy Garu, Principal Degree Smt. Archana Shah, and Principal of Gayathri Jr. College, Sri. Chandrasekhar Reddy.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the beginning of a new academic journey. Principal Archana Shah warmly welcomed everyone and extended her congratulations to both the management and the students for embarking on this new chapter in women’s education.
Chairman D. Buchi Reddy Garu expressed his support and encouragement to the newly admitted students. He assured them of the institution’s commitment to providing quality education. He emphasized that the three-year journey through college should leave an effective mark in their lives and that this initiative marks a significant step towards empowering women through higher education.
The highlight of the event was a special Beauty Pageant organized for the students. The program was skilfully hosted by Ms. Khooshboo and Ms. Sana from the B.Com CA.
The winners of the pageant are, Ms. Fresher 2023: Ms. Kasak, Runner up-1: Ms. Preeti, Runner up-2: Ms. Akshita, Ms. Funny: Ms. Priyanka, Ms. Personality: Ms. Khushboo & Ms. Sara, Ms. Best Hair: Ms. Priya & Ms. P. Anjali, Ms. Best Costume: Ms. Meghana & Ms. Ayesha. The Judges were Ms. Amrita FoE and Ms. Shalini FoC.
The Beauty Pageant not only showcased the student’s diverse talents and personalities but also added an element of excitement and camaraderie to the Fresher’s Day celebrations.
With this successful event, Gayathri Degree College for Women kicked off its journey in the field of higher education with a strong commitment to empowering young women through quality learning experiences.
