Functioning of ICDS reviewed at Kupwara

Kupwara: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone who is also the District Programme Officer today convened a meeting of concerned CDPOs to review the functioning of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) department.

The ADC on the occasion impressed upon the Child Project Development Officers (CDPOs) for proper projecting of data of Health and Nutrition for effective implementation of Poshan Abhiyan in the district.

He directed the concerned to work with added zeal for elimination of mal nutrition related problems including Anaemia and underweight among the children.

Earlier, the ADC took a detailed review of the progress made under Poshan Abhiyan in all 11 ICDS blocks of the district.
