G-20 Bait Bazi Event Showcases India’s Cultural Heritage at AMU
Aligarh : The spirit of India’s cultural diversity and ethical values took center stage at the Bait Bazi event held at Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Teachers, (Urdu Academy), Aligarh Muslim University, as part of the prestigious G-20 program series. Various teams from the university participated, reciting selected poems that celebrated the nation’s rich cultural heritage and its deep-rooted connection to the environment.
The Chief Guest on the occasion Mr. Mohammad Arif Hasan Khan, an expert in speech, appreciated the event and said these encourages the students to creatively express their ideas on G-20, in shaping a better global order.
In his presidential remark Prof. Qamar Al Huda Faridi (Director Urdu Academy), emphasized India’s privilege of hosting the G-20 summit, which has elevated the nation’s prestige on the global stage. Dr. Rafiuddin (Urdu Academy), highlighted the civilization, culture, and philosophical legacy of India.
The participation of students and faculty members showcased the vibrant tapestry of India’s rich cultural heritage and its enduring significance in the modern world. The judges for the Bait Bazi competition were Dr. Aftab A Najmi and Dr. Muhammad B Alam Siddiqui (Assistant Editor of Fikro Nazar).
