G20 related painting competition organized

ALIGARH  : The Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University organized a painting competition on G20 theme “One Earth, One family, One Future” under the series of programmes held to mark India’s G20 presidency.

Soumya Abedi got the first prize in the competition, while Afshan Siddiqui got the second prize and Mitali Varshney and Abdul Muneem Khan shared the third prize.

In his address, Prof M.J. Warsi, Chairman of the department, highlighted the role of G20 in addressing the major global challenges and underlined the relevance of G20 theme “One Earth, One Family, One Future” in India’s context.

Dr Nazrin B. Laskar was the convener of the programme.
