Gannon University: Gannon University and CHOSEN send aid to Ukraine

Gannon’s Josh Henry, professor and director of clinical education for the respiratory care program, and student Kristina Rogulchick have teamed up with CHOSEN to send aid to Ukraine.

Rogulchik, whose family is from Ukraine, attends the Ukrainian Pentecostal Church in Erie where her father is a pastor. Wanting to find a way to support Ukrainians, Henry and Rogulchik and her father met at CHOSEN Mission Project on West. 26th St. to source through an inventory of medical supplies and equipment that was ready to be donated.

From there, the group teamed up with parishioners, CHOSEN employees and student volunteers to gather more than 46,000 piece of equipment, medical supplies, bandages, walkers and more into a box truck.

Now, all that equipment is in a storage facility waiting for a large shipping container to ship to Poland for the Ukrainians to pick up at the border and distribute to locations as needed.
