Gannon University Hosts CEB Adjunct Networking Event
Students in the College of Engineering and Business at Gannon University graduate ready to take on the challenges of their profession and contribute to the growth of their communities as global citizens. Our students’ preparedness upon completing their business, engineering, and computer science degrees would not be possible without our adjunct faculty members.
Most of our current adjuncts are employed in professional full-time positions, are entrepreneurs or business owners, or have retired from full-time teaching. Our students benefit greatly from the unique perspectives on today’s professional environment brought into the classroom. Generally, adjuncts teach one or two classes per semester in their area of expertise. Many courses can be scheduled in the evening to accommodate schedules for those employed elsewhere full-time. Adjuncts are required to have a minimum of a Master’s degree in their field or professional certifications and licensures. Prior teaching experience or extensive professional experience is also required.
