Gannon University’s Schuster Theatre To Present Clemente Fundraiser

Gannon University Schuster Theatre will present its 2023 Clemente Fundraiser, February 3-4 at 8 p.m. for “a night of beloved songs and delightful patter that will have you rolling in the aisles when you’re not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 1950’s.”

FOREVER PLAID stars Brendan Daugherty, Jared Lossie ’12, Will Steadman, and Patrick Thiem, with production staff including Almitra Clerkin ’85 ’17M, Rev. Shawn Clerkin ’86, Angela Howell, and Kate Thiem.

This production tells the story of four young singers, tragically killed in a car crash on their way to their first big gig. They posthumously take the stage for one final performance in FOREVER PLAID, a goofy, 1950’s-style nostalgia trip, featuring favorites like “Three Coins in the Fountain,” “Heart and Soul,” and “Crazy ‘Bout Ya Baby.”

Tickets are $25 each. Gannon students may purchase one student ticket per Gannon ID for $10 using code: PERFIDIA.

A dessert reception sponsored by the Gannon Alumni Association will follow the Friday night performance.
